Overhaul Services Engineer - CLE MRO TV Flowline, Derby

The Civil Large Engines Maintenance Repair & Overhaul Technical Variance Flowline (CLE MRO TV Flowline) addresses all the TVs raised by the MRO bases servicing Civil Large Engines worldwide. A Technical Variance authorizes deviations from Rolls-Royce Technical Publications. The MRO TV Flowline is essential for the timely and cost-effective output of over 1000 Engines per year, impacting Rolls-Royce's business directly. It also helps identify systemic issues and their resolutions.

As an Overhaul Services Engineer in the CLE MRO TV Flowline, you will support the maintenance and overhaul of gas turbine engines throughout their lifecycle. This role offers a chance to deepen your understanding of Civil Large Engines in service and the global MRO network, working with colleagues worldwide.

The role requires knowledge of MRO tools and processes, integration skills within Rolls-Royce engineering and MRO networks, and the ability to acquire the Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) delegation. Candidates who can obtain CVE delegation will also be considered.

  • Collaborating with manufacturing engineering, MRO bases, and other stakeholders to support and improve processes
  • Ensuring technical solutions meet requirements, including returning components to serviceability

Key qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of component and system functionality with consideration of form, fit, and function
  • Understanding of manufacturing engineering and special processes
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and apply practical manufacturing thinking
  • Experience in planning and managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, considering customer needs
