We have an exciting opportunity within our Outwards Reinsurance Placement team to support the delivery of the end-to-end placement process. This role is key in ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality analytics to assist purchasing decisions and manage risk.

This high-profile role offers exposure to the entire suite of RI placement, including Outwards Reinsurance, Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Credit Control, Finance, and Actuarial. A focus will be on delivering Outwards Reinsurance analytics for Lead Buyers, Lead Underwriters, MS Amlin Syndicate C Suite, and Stakeholders. There will be opportunities across multiple classes of business, making each day varied.

About The Job

Typical responsibilities include:

• Producing Outwards Reinsurance information for business planning and strategic purposes.
• Preparing standard renewal submission information and assisting Lead Buyers in managing the placement process.
• Supporting the development of alternative risk transfer methods and structuring capital market transactions.
• Producing reports and MI requirements for the Lead Outwards Reinsurance Lead.
• Providing information for Committees and Board Meetings.
• Handling internal and external queries regarding the placement process.
• Participating in team projects.
• Preparing documentation for Lloyd’s Regulatory Returns quarterly.

What you’ll need:

• Experience in the Insurance sector, preferably in Underwriting, Catastrophe Modelling, or Broking.
• Experience in data mapping, review, and analysis for control and decision-making.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and third parties to understand business needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and SQL or interest in coding in SQL/R/Python.
• Good organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
