Job Description:

Purpose of the role

Design, develop, and implement systems to enhance and support the business. Responsible for systems analysis, design, and build of the proposed solution and for ensuring successful development to produce an effective IT service.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Analyze and design software solutions that meet business requirements.
2. Take responsibility for developing user stories.
3. Deliver artefacts to support understanding and supportability of deliverables.
4. Develop high-quality software to committed dates.
5. Create unit tests to ensure components meet objectives.
6. Work closely with the agile team to develop according to acceptance criteria.
7. Maintain understanding of current systems to develop practical solutions and share best practices.
8. Contribute to technical standards to promote quality and effectiveness of IT solutions.
9. Identify and escalate issues that may jeopardize project deadlines or compromise solutions.
10. Provide technical assistance to resolve project/service issues.
11. Contribute to various projects, e.g., resolving design issues, analyzing test feedback, QA.
12. Participate in Agile ceremonies.
13. Keep tracking tools updated daily.
