Job Description:

Purpose of the role: Design, develop, and implement systems to enhance and support the business. Responsible for systems analysis, design, and build of the proposed solution and for ensuring successful development to produce an effective IT service.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Analyze and design software solutions that effectively meet business requirements.
• Take responsibility for developing user stories.
• Deliver artefacts to support understanding and supportability of deliverables.
• Develop high-quality software to committed deadlines.
• Develop unit tests to ensure components meet objectives.
• Work closely with the agile team to develop to acceptance criteria.
• Maintain understanding of current systems to develop practical solutions and share knowledge.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of technical standards.
• Identify and escalate issues that may affect project deadlines or solutions.
• Provide technical assistance for immediate project/service issues.
• Contribute to various project areas, including design, testing, QA.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies.
