Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Inspire students to achieve their full potential in Geography and develop a deep understanding of the world around them.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the geographical opportunities and outcomes for students.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of student progress in Geography and the impact of departmental initiatives.
  • TLR opportunities may be available in areas such as leading assessment, data analysis, mentoring less experienced geography staff, or leading specific projects to raise attainment in Geography.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate students to achieve geographical excellence.
