As the leader of the Outsourcing function within our UK Accounting Services team, you will deliver a profitable service line, ensure quality client service, and provide a first-class people experience by:

1. Working with existing leadership to gain an in-depth understanding of the business and processes.
2. Leading and inspiring our people through change and growth.
3. Building scale in the team to meet growth requirements and monitoring ongoing resource needs.
4. Driving sustained and rapid growth through effective marketing.
5. Leading the conversion of new business opportunities, delivering proposals and presentations to prospects.
6. Supporting the outsourcing manager team, fostering a culture of coaching and development, and rewarding great performance.
7. Being approachable and accessible, providing technical support and guidance.
8. Managing team finances and liaising with stakeholders.
9. Leading onboarding of large and complex assignments when necessary.
10. Serving as a point of escalation for clients and leading conversations as required.

Knowing you’re right for us

To join us as an outsourcing senior manager, the minimum criteria include a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA) and:

• Extensive experience in team leadership.
• Experience onboarding and managing large outsourcing assignments.
• Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
• Good knowledge of UK VAT, corporation tax, and employment tax rules.
• Some experience with IFRS would be beneficial.
