Job Description:

TPF Recruitment is partnering with a reputable and modern accountancy practice in Reading to recruit an experienced Outsourcing/Management Accounts Senior. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing firm that supports a wide range of SME and corporate clients with their day-to-day finance functions.

The role sits within the firm’s outsourcing division and is ideal for a proactive and commercially minded accounting professional who enjoys working closely with clients. You’ll be responsible for delivering timely and accurate management accounts, cloud bookkeeping services support, while also contributing to process improvements and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Managing bookkeeping duties and maintaining accurate records using cloud software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
  • Handling VAT returns, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
  • Supporting clients with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and KPI reporting
  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients on day-to-day finance matters
  • Overseeing and reviewing work completed by junior team members, offering training and guidance where needed
  • Collaborating with the wider team to improve internal systems and client reporting efficiencies
