The ideal candidate will be an excellent problem-solver, eager to build strong client relationships with a diverse range of clients, from life science spin-outs and entrepreneurial SMEs to large international groups. You will utilize your skills in management reporting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to address business challenges and collaborate with our specialist teams to provide end-to-end support.

Proficiency with cloud technologies (Xero, Dext, Fathom, etc.) and a proactive approach to automation and financial system design are essential.

This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape a growing team in one of the most exciting areas of accountancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Managing a client portfolio, including planning, mentoring, and reviewing junior staff’s work.
  2. Performing management reporting, analysis, and interpretation against KPIs, and discussing these insights with clients to support operational and strategic decisions.
  3. Engaging with clients on projects, including designing and implementing Xero-based financial systems.
  4. Collaborating with the team to develop innovative solutions and deliver excellent client service.
Candidate Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification, or nearing qualification with relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role within a practice environment, seeking progression.
  • Proficiency in advising on and implementing Xero-based financial systems, processes, and controls.
  • A positive, proactive, and collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing interactions.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines.
