Interim Stock Condition Surveyor, £30 - £50 p/hour Outside IR35

A leading private sector consultancy specialising in housing association stock assessments. Their mission is to provide comprehensive and accurate surveys to help housing associations maintain and improve their properties. This organisation is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join their team on an interim basis.

Your new role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Stock Condition Surveyor to conduct inspections of housing association properties. This role is ideal for a professional looking for flexible work arrangements, as you will be paid per survey completed.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Proven experience of conducting property surveys or similar inspections.
  2. Strong knowledge of the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS), Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) standards, and Energy Performance Certificates (EPC).
  3. Excellent observational and reporting skills.
  4. The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  5. Relevant qualifications in surveying or a related field are desirable.
  6. Professional accreditation from bodies such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), leading to Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) status, is desirable.
  7. Valid driving licence for travel to various properties.
