Job description

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for an Outreach Worker in a lively and supportive SEN school in Trafford. You will support SEND students in the community, particularly those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Take attendance in the mornings and liaise with parents over absences.
2. Support young people in the community, liaising with social services and other parties to provide the best support.
3. Manage behaviour and deescalate situations to help students engage with the curriculum.
4. Refer to each student's Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) for tailored support.

Requirements:

1. Must have a full, clean UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle, with willingness to obtain business insurance.
2. Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
3. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
4. Provide two professional child-related references.
