Job description

Overview

We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Outreach Worker to join our team. This is a fixed term contract (2 years) for 18.5 hours per week over 5 days (Monday to Friday). Current salary is £13.02 per hour. This role is to support individuals in the community who may be socially isolated or face barriers to accessing services. It also allows loved ones some respite — and to hopefully help them transition into our welcoming, centre-based day services.

Responsibilities

• Start by building relationships through Outreach work: supporting service users and carers and offering tailored support.
• Over time, become a key part of our integrated day service provision, helping individuals feel safe, valued, and connected within our centre.
