Outreach Tutor - Gravesend Biology Teacher

Location: Gravesend, Kent

Salary: £25 - £35 per hour

Job Type: Day-to-Day Cover

Contract: Temporary, Ongoing

Hours: 1-6 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday - Friday), during school hours only

Start Date: ASAP

Qualifications and Experience:

• QTS or equivalent, or unqualified with two years' experience teaching core subjects
• Experience teaching Science from KS3 to KS5
• Experience working with students with complex needs including SEMH, ASD, MLD, SpLD
• Exceptional behaviour management skills
• Experience working within UK schools for at least 2 years

Responsibilities:

• Teach Biology at GCSE level to 1-3 students in need of tuition
• Deliver differentiated lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
• Work face-to-face within the community

Additional Information:

• Available during school hours up to 30 hours per week
• Term-time only
