Looking for a meaningful career move? As an Outreach Tutor with New Way Tuition, you'll deliver life-changing 1:1 education to students who need a different approach. Our learners may be out of school due to SEN, SEMH, trauma, or anxiety—but with the right support, they can flourish.

We cover key locations across Essex, working closely with families, local authorities, and schools to ensure every student receives the education and care they deserve. Sessions take place in homes, schools, or community spaces—wherever the learner feels safe and supported.

Your role will include:

Creating engaging, individualised lessons in English, Maths, and life skills

Supporting students emotionally as well as academically

Building trust and boosting self-esteem

Encouraging independence and re-integration where appropriate

We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience working with children or young people
• Understand SEN, SEMH, and the value of alternative education
• Communicate clearly, listen well, and adapt easily
• Hold (or can apply for) an Enhanced DBS
