Role overview:
This role is for a housing association, supporting vulnerable individuals across Colchester and Tendring to live independently, maintain their tenancies, and build confidence and life skills. You will work directly with clients in their homes, helping them navigate welfare benefits, access services, and overcome challenges related to mental health, physical health, or employment, while promoting resilience and self-sufficiency.

Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Visit clients in their homes to help maintain tenancies and develop life skills

  • Support individuals with welfare benefits, accessing local services, and building confidence

  • Provide pre-tenancy advice and ongoing tenancy support

  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure appropriate support is in place
