We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Outreach Tutor to join our dynamic team and support SEN students in a variety of settings across Southend-On-Sea, Essex.

Role Overview: As an Outreach Tutor, you will work closely with students with SEN, offering tailored, one-to-one or small group support in both mainstream and special educational settings. You will create and implement individualised learning plans, using a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students. Key Skills and Experience:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and school staff.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to a wide range of learning needs.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
• A passion for education and helping children achieve their full potential.
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) or relevant SEN training (e.g., SENDCO, SEN TA experience) is desirable but not essential.
