  • Substance Misuse
  • Mental Health
  • Homelessness
  • Criminal Justice

Flexibility, curiosity, and good listening skills are key, as no two days are the same. You will need to record information accurately, so an enjoyment of paperwork and meticulousness are important. Most importantly, you'll work with diverse individuals, making a tangible difference in their lives.

Main duties of the job

Under the guidance of the NMP Lead, Assistant Medical Director, and Medical Lead, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team providing recovery-focused alcohol and drug interventions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Providing care for clients presenting to the service.
  • Initiating and adjusting prescriptions for opiate and alcohol substitute treatments and related medications.
  • Leading the development of the prescribing clinic and acting as a contact point for prescribing issues with other workers and partner agencies.

Working in substance misuse is rewarding and vibrant. At Change Grow Live, we believe everyone can grow, develop, and live their best lives. As part of our team, you'll help individuals reach their goals and improve their lives.

We offer opportunities for professional growth, including a weekly wellbeing hour, CPD time, support with revalidation, a peer network, and a monthly prescriber's forum.
