Outreach Family Support Worker #RQ1512680

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

An exciting opportunity has arisen: We are currently recruiting for a part-time (18.5hrs per week) Family Support Worker to join our safeguarding team in Bolton Council.

As part of this role, you will work alongside Safeguarding Social Workers to deliver high-quality interventions with children and families to support positive outcomes.

The role includes (but is not limited to):

  1. Supporting with family time
  2. Supporting in completing home visits
  3. Direct work with children
  4. Working with families on behaviour management strategies, routines, and boundaries
  5. Budgeting and referring families to support services

This work involves working with families subject to Child in Need, Child Protection, and court proceedings.

Candidate must be able to work in the office part of the week and travel to Bolton at short notice to meet service needs.
