Job description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of an Outreach Family Support Worker, on a 1-month contract, likely to be extended at client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £14.21 - £17.90 per Hour

Summary:

Liverpool Early Help is committed to a strength-based approach, delivering empowering interventions to children and families. Our goal is to address emerging concerns, drive positive change, and improve the long-term outcomes for children and young people.

As a lead professional, you will work in collaboration with multi-agency partners, ensuring a whole-family approach is taken to address identified needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct early help assessments with children and families.
  • Develop and implement support plans tailored to each family's needs.
  • Chair Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings to review progress and identify additional areas of support.
  • Carry out direct work with children and young people to explore their views, concerns, and aspirations.
  • Coordinate multi-agency interventions to ensure families receive the right support at the right time.

Essentials:

  • Experience in family support, early intervention, or social care.
  • Ability to conduct assessments and develop individualised support plans.
  • Experience in multi-agency working, coordinating support for families.
  • Strong skills in engaging and working directly with children and young people.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the U.K.
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS.
