Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council seeks an Outreach and Engagement Officer for a 12-month fixed term contract. This part-time role involves leading community engagement activities and partnerships to enhance Family Hub services for children and families in Solihull, aimed at improving their experience and outcomes. We have an exciting 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for an Outreach and Engagement Officer to work within the Family Hub team.The role will build strong partnerships with individuals, families, communities, agencies and services across Solihull and lead a wide range of engagement activities that link to Family Hub objectives.The post holder will support communities to thrive by leading and developing Family Hub outreach activities across borough locations, building the capacity of residents and supporting them to access the Early Help Family Hub offer across the Borough.
The Family Hubs offer a high quality and effective service to children, young people and families through a team of multi-agency professional working together to support families.The aim of Solihull Family Hubs is to give children and families the best start in life through a ‘one-stop’ shop approach, enabling them to get the support and services they need, including virtual appointments and online group sessions.
We are looking for passionate, motivated individuals who are driven to serve the communities of Solihull and the families within them.
