Job Description

Glasgow Life is seeking an Outreach Assistant to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term contract until October 2027. You will be part of our Museums service, supporting outreach, learning, and engagement with our collections.

The role
As an Outreach Assistant, you will facilitate access to museum collections for those unable or unlikely to visit in person. You will develop and deliver outreach activities, create resources, and foster engagement with diverse communities across Glasgow.

• Strong organizational skills and adaptability
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Ability to engage with various audiences and build relationships
• Energy and enthusiasm for delivery-focused roles

Glasgow Museums Resource Centre is well-connected by public transport and offers free parking.

This role involves working five days over seven, from 9am to 5pm.

Membership of the PVG Scheme is mandatory upon appointment, and candidates will need to cover associated costs. These posts are exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended). A valid driving license is required.
