Job summary

Chimes is seeking an Outpatient Therapist for Exton, PA. The role supports diagnostic assessments and individual, family, and group psychotherapy across a diverse client population. Flexible scheduling accommodates both full-time and part-time arrangements, with emphasis on delivering quality behavioral health care.

Required education is a Master's in a clinical discipline; one year of field experience is preferred. Licensure is encouraged (LPC, LCSW, PsyD) and state clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical discipline for mental health therapists.
• One year of experience in the behavioral health field for mental health therapists.
• Licensed preferred (LPC, LCSW, PsyD).
• Clinical supervision leading to licensure available.
• Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; not on Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal clinical assessments of clients upon admission.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of treatment plans.
• Provide crisis assessment and stabilization services as needed.
• Perform substance abuse treatment as defined by the program description.
• Conduct individual, family, or group therapy as clinically indicated.
• Participate in supervision and staff meetings.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation: progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries.

Job Description: In this role, the Outpatient Therapist will provide diagnostic assessments and individual, family, and group psychotherapy to our clients. Holcomb serves a diverse population, covering the entire age and diagnostic spectrum.

Schedule Details: Full-Time and Part-Time Available (Flexible Scheduling)

Location: Exton, PA

Pay Rate:$30+/hour Billable Rate

Job Functions:

• Conduct formal clinical assessments of clients upon admission
• Develop and oversee the implementation of treatment plans
• Provide crisis assessment and stabilization services, as clinically necessary
• Perform substance abuse treatment as defined by the program description
• Conduct individual, family, or group therapy, as clinically indicated, including maintaining a clinically appropriate balance between treatment modalities
• Participate in all required individual and peer supervision, as well as all applicable program staff meetings
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
• Provide quality services based on established best practice principles of care
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other local providers, client advocacy groups, and client support systems
• Participate in agency committees to develop and implement program/service enhancement
• Maintain professional licensure and/or certification in the designated state(s) of service

Education: Master’s degree in a clinical discipline for mental health therapists. All degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.

Experience: One year of experience in the behavioral health field for mental health therapists.

Licensure/Certification: Licensed Preferred (LPC, LCSW, PsyD). Co-occurring professional certification is strongly encouraged—clinical supervision leading to licensure available.

Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and Fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.

Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
