Outpatient Physical Therapist

Mt Ascutney Hospital is a small community hospital in beautiful Windsor, Vermont. We have a dynamic outpatient clinic providing care to primarily orthopedic and neurologic populations, with opportunities for aquatic therapy with a pool on site. We work closely with our primary and specialty care practices, as well as our CARF accredited inpatient rehabilitation and acute care departments, encouraging a multidisciplinary approach through the continuum of care.

We are seeking a full-time physical therapist to join our supportive team of skilled clinicians. Experienced team members are available to provide opportunities for mentorship if desired. We have a clinical ladder program recognizing expertise and providing opportunities for advancement, with associated compensation. State-of-the-art treatment equipment including Vector body weight support system is integrated into the treatment space.

Responsibilities would include:

1. Evaluations and patient-centered treatment for patients with a variety of diagnoses.
2. Maintaining appropriate records.
3. Working cooperatively with other members of the health care team and institution to provide optimal care.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy. Current VT State license. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior.
