Job summary

SDH Developments Ltd, a subsidiary of Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust, provides outpatient pharmacy services at Torbay Hospital. We are seeking a pharmacy technician who is qualified or prepared to train as an accuracy checking technician to join our team.

Qualifications

• Qualified pharmacy technician or willing to train as an accuracy checking technician.
• Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Dispense medicines and support stock ordering/receiving.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines for patients in the Outpatients setting.
• Order and receipt of stock to maintain stock levels.
• Provide a front-of-house service for customers, including sale of medicines.
• Support day-to-day operations of the outpatient pharmacy.
• Carry out final accuracy checks on prescriptions as an Accuracy Checking Technician.
