Job summary

SWFT Clinical Services Ltd. in Coventry is recruiting a Pharmacy Dispenser for the Outpatient Pharmacy at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. The role involves dispensing outpatient and hospital prescriptions, supporting a fast-paced team and ensuring high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services.
• GCSE Maths & English (C or above).
• UK Pharmacy dispensing accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare labels using Wellsky and correctly assemble outpatient, private and oral chemotherapy prescriptions.
• Dispense and prepare TTO medicines to ensure safe discharge.
• Stock management: ordering, receiving and checking stock; load robot and coordinate with procurement.
• Remove expired or unwanted drugs and arrange disposal.
• Hand out medicines and manage OTC stock to support retail sales.
• Minimise waiting times while maintaining professional standards.
• Ensure service quality and patient safety by following SOPs and health and safety policies.
