University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Band 5 Nurse or Practitioner for the Outpatients Assessment Centre and Minor Procedure Suite at the St Mary's site. The role involves a multidisciplinary team caring for several specialties and may require work across UHD sites.

The successful candidate will demonstrate teamwork, a commitment to safety, and enthusiasm for service development in diagnostic care.

Formación

• Registration on Part 1 or 12 of the NMC Register is required.
• Diploma or Degree in a relevant subject.
• Mentoring and Assessing course; ability to teach in practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for patients undergoing minor procedures in multiple specialties.
• Prepare patients and equipment in line with infection prevention and control policies.
• Assist in minor surgical and diagnostic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures and document outcomes timely.
• Support junior staff and student nurses; participate in team briefings and handovers.
• Maintain NMC registration and engage in CPD activities.
