Job summary

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced OPD Manager to plan and oversee outpatient activity and patient flow. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, ensure high quality care, and lead staff development in a dynamic cancer care environment.

Role requires RN (Adult) registration, a relevant degree, and evidence of CPD, with leadership experience and strong communication skills. Band 7, permanent, full-time.

Qualifications

• 1st level RN (Adult) required; post-basic cancer/palliative care preferred.
• Degree in a related subject; evidence of CPD and ongoing development.
• Advanced communications skills and ability to train others.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary cancer care teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, co-ordinate and manage OPD activity and patient flow.
• Apply safe staffing models and skill mix across the department.
• Lead incident, risk and complaint management with the team.
• Develop staff, create SOPs, policies and processes.
• Monitor KPIs and drive service development and improvement.
