Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Outpatient Clinic Utilisation Coordinator to join our administration team in Breast and Endocrine Surgery across Aintree and Royal sites.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Booking patient appointments and reviewing clinic templates.
  2. Maintaining hospital systems such as IPM, dashboard, NHS e-Referral, ICE, PENS.
  3. Monitoring and managing waiting lists.
  4. Liaising with clinical teams and handling patient enquiries professionally.
  5. Ensuring maximum utilisation of clinics and processing referrals efficiently.
  6. Managing outpatient waiting lists to ensure timely patient care.
  7. Supporting the administrative and operational team, including referral triage and NHS e-Referral service.
  8. Providing cover for absent colleagues as needed.
Candidate Requirements
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work flexibly, including cross-site coverage.
  • Experience working within the NHS.
  • Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior team members.
