Are you passionate about hands-on learning and the great outdoors? Do you have the skills to inspire students through vocational and practical education? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated Outdoor Vocational Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive alternative provision or SEN setting this September.
We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who can deliver engaging outdoor and vocational lessons to pupils with varied learning needs. This may include areas such as:
Horticulture and environmental studies
Outdoor survival skills and bushcraft
Construction basics, carpentry, or mechanics
Life skills and team-building activities
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young people who thrive in non-traditional learning environments.
Have experience teaching or delivering vocational/outdoor learning
Be confident managing behaviour and adapting to individual student needs
Have a nurturing, resilient, and flexible approach to teaching
Hold or be willing to undergo a DBS check (Teaching Personnel can assist)
QTS or relevant teaching/training qualifications are desirable but not essential
Full-time, long-term position starting September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
