Your primary responsibility will be to provide management support to the Outdoor Sundries Department.

Working closely with the Centre Management Team to help the department succeed.

Rota: Full time - Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 09:00 - 18:00 & alternate weekends, Saturday 09:00 - 18:00 and Sunday 09:00 - 17:30

Main duties and responsibilities:

  1. Maintain good control over stock levels, including accurate ordering and stock clearance where necessary.
  2. Co-operate fully with line management and product managers.
  3. Take responsibility for the department in the absence of the manager.
  4. Purchasing within the company product range within company guidelines.
  5. Provide feedback on current and new products to optimise range and stock availability.
  6. Maintain good control over stock levels, including accurate ordering and stock clearance where necessary.
  7. Work closely with relevant Product Managers to ensure the optimum range and stock availability.
  8. Use initiative to increase sales in the department.
  9. Generate sales opportunities through interaction with customers.
  10. Monitor and maintain standards of appearance.
  11. Organise and allocate team and individual tasks in line with customer service needs.
  12. Handle queries and complaints courteously, referring to the Manager and Product Manager when necessary.
