Location: Wessex Lodge School, Frome, Somerset BA11 4LA

Salary: £24,000.00 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Outdoor/Sport/Forest School Instructor to join our team at Wessex Lodge School, part of Acorn Education.

About the role

To teach pupils across the full age and ability range in the school (5-18), ensuring high standards of achievement, personal development, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the school's vision is clearly articulated, shared, understood, and acted upon effectively.
• Work within the school community to translate the vision into objectives and operational plans that promote school improvement.
• Demonstrate the school's vision and values in daily work and practice.
• Motivate and collaborate to create a positive culture and climate.
• Use creativity, innovation, and appropriate technologies to achieve excellence.
• Assist the PE/ODE Leads in strategic planning considering the diversity and values of the school and community.
• Develop and monitor outstanding alternative education provision.
