Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking an Unskilled Labourer / Recycling Operative in Leeds. The role is outdoors, involves unloading recyclable materials, sorting waste, and maintaining a safe yard environment. A hands-on, team-based role with steady assignments and the potential for overtime.

Typical hours are 7:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, totaling 45 hours per week. Previous yard or recycling experience is a plus but not essential; applicants must be comfortable working outside in all weather

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking individuals.
• Comfortable undertaking physical work and working outdoors.
• Good awareness of health and safety.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help where required.
• Experience in yard, recycling, labouring or industrial settings is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with safe unloading of recyclable materials and scrap.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
• Sorting and consolidating recyclable materials and yard debris.
• Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
• Carrying out general yard duties to support daily operations.
• Working as part of a team to ensure the site runs efficiently.
