Royal Mail Group in Sudbury is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a fixed-term 12-month contract. The role covers 37 hours per week across a Monday–Sunday rota, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, with paid overtime and a monthly salary.

You'll work outdoors in all weathers, build relationships with customers, and enjoy a role with routine, structure and variety while staying active in the community.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and organised for a busy, outdoors role.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
