Job summary

Royal Mail in Tain is seeking a Delivery Officer for a fixed-term 9-month contract. You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, then deliver by van and on foot in your local area. The role is outdoors, requiring involvement with customers and working across all weather conditions.

The position is 25 hours per week across Monday to Saturday, with a daytime schedule and driving responsibilities. Full training and a red Royal Mail van are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points).
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well organised.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering good service.
