Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Wilmslow for Royal Mail. This temporary role offers a 30-hour week, with a pay rate of £13.69 per hour and shifts from 08:30 to 15:30. You will start from the local delivery office, load deliveries, and navigate routes using a handheld device.

Outdoor work, customer service, and reliability are essential. Ideal candidates enjoy independent work, outdoor conditions, and delivering excellence with a strong sense of time management.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
