Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver in Coventry North to support Royal Mail on a temporary basis. You will start at the local delivery office, sort and load deliveries, and navigate routes with a handheld device. This outdoor role involves delivering letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle, with walking up to 8 miles per day and lifting weights up to 20 kg.

A UK driving licence is required. Varied hours and shift times offer flexibility, with weekend availability often required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) with license held for 6 months.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle - walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
