Local Multi-Drop Postal Driver – Outdoor & Independent

Job summary

Pertemps Bond, in partnership with Royal Mail, is recruiting for a Multi-Drop Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver in the Dursley area. Immediate start with a temporary contract, working 30 hours per week.

Shift times are 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday with weekend availability required. Customer service oriented, outdoors, and independent work. Full UK manual licence preferred with ability to lift up to 20kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg.
• Use delivery trolleys when required.
