Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Litter Picker for a busy recycling facility based in Wath-upon-Dearne, South Yorkshire. This temporary-to-permanent role is site-based and outdoors, with duties including litter picking, waste disposal, and keeping walkways clean.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break. The position pays £12.71 per hour, with overtime rates applying after eight hours and on weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in litter-picking or outdoor cleaning preferred.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Litter picking across the site.
• Keeping outdoor areas, walkways and access routes clean and tidy.
• Collecting and disposing of waste safely.
• Sweeping external areas and clearing debris.
• Emptying bins and maintaining housekeeping standards across the site.
• Reporting any health and safety concerns to management.
• Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.
