Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Pre-School Manager – Level 3 to lead an Early Years setting in Royston. The role offers a salary of £37,000 per year for a 40-hour week, with opportunities to drive Forest School and outdoor learning initiatives that enrich children's development and readiness for school.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above) and Maths GCSE, have pre-school leadership experience, and demonstrate a strong

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential.
• Maths GCSE or equivalent qualification - essential.
• Previous experience working with pre-school-aged children – essential.
• Senior Early Years experience, such as Deputy Manager or similar – essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the pre-school, maintaining high standards of care and education.
• Lead, motivate and support practitioners, encouraging professional development.
• Plan and oversee engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS.
• Support children's confidence, independence, communication and school readiness.
• Monitor children's progress, observations and developmental assessments.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers, supporting children's transition to school.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety and Early Years practice.
