Newark and Sherwood District Council is seeking a motivated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join the Street Scene team at The Depot, Brunel Drive, Newark. The role involves maintaining open spaces to a high standard across parks, play areas and amenity spaces, with 37-hour weeks under annualised hours.

You must be prepared for all weather, flexible duties, and have a full driving licence to operate council vehicles. Permanent, NS5 salary (£26,847–£27,274) per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance and operating related powered tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Full driving licence is required to drive council vehicles.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the District Council’s open spaces, including parks, play areas, playing fields and amenity areas, to a high standard.
• Work as part of the Street Scene team to deliver cleaner, safer and greener environments in Newark and Sherwood.
