Job description

Hours: Monday Friday (8:30 5:30 Monday-Thursday and 8:30 1:30 Friday)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and administrative support for outbound logistics in optimising truck move efficiency.
  • Assist in data tracking, cost analysis, and carrier performance evaluation to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs and enhancing outbound logistics service levels.
  • Manage 3PL counterparts.
  • Drive performance KPIs on time collection, and delivery.
  • Reduce capital costs linked with exceptions.
  • Automate reporting for carrier performance, cost per lane, and exception trends.
  • Work with Planning, Customer Service, and Sales to align outbound priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-border compliance with customs teams.
  • Analyse transport flows and propose network redesigns or consolidation points.
  • Support tenders and carrier selection with scenario-based modelling.
  • Track late deliveries, damages, and rejections.
  • Lead root cause analysis with 3PLs, suggest CAPAs.
  • Drive Cost Savings Initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive outbound transport and/or export experience preferably at management level.
  • Comprehensive freight and transport experience.
  • At least 3 years of Supply chain and haulage planning experience.
