Job description

Astute's Power Team is working with a leading Waste Management company in the UK and is recruiting for an Outage Planner to join the Engineering Team at a large Energy from Waste plant.

Responsibilities and duties of the Outage Planner role

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Planning, executing, and completing scheduled outages across all three production lines, including the steam turbine/generator and shared plant systems.
2. Designing and implementing workflow processes to optimize site resources.
3. Developing comprehensive documentation to support effective project management.
4. Leading the advancement and integration of the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
5. Managing and actively contributing to team objectives and collaborative efforts.
6. Upholding and promoting strict safety standards for all site activities.
