Job description

A busy, purpose-built small animal practice in East London is seeking an Out of Hours Veterinary Surgeon to join their established clinical team on a part-time basis.

Rota:

• 7 nights on, 14 nights off

• Monday to Friday: 8pm – 8:15am

• Weekends: 6pm – 9am

The Practice:

This modern, well-equipped practice offers:

• 2 dedicated operating theatres

• Ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and digital radiography

• Full endoscopy unit and access to CT

• Continuous investment in facilities and equipment

• Large, experienced team of 14 Vets and 18 RVNs, with interests spanning medicine, orthopaedics, and soft tissue surgery

Conveniently located with free onsite parking and excellent transport links:

• 25 minutes to central London

• 20 minutes to the Essex countryside

• Close to Stansted, City & Southend airports

The Role:

They are seeking an experienced small animal vet who is:

• Confident working sole charge

• Comfortable handling emergency surgical procedures

• Skilled in managing a varied caseload

• Strong in diagnostic and medical abilities

• Flexible, with excellent communication and client care skills

Support & Development:
