Are you committed to making a difference in women’s lives? Are you passionate about supporting women in a holistic, gender-responsive, trauma-informed way to achieve long-term, lasting change?

We are seeking passionate and empathetic support workers to empower women to reach their full potential and live a life of long-term recovery.

Your role will be to ensure the safety of women and the building, as well as offering support to women as necessary during your shift, by responding to phone calls or in person at the property when indicated.

Out of Hours Support Workers will liaise with other Nelson Trust and Cheltenham YMCA staff to provide support and advice to women.

The post holder will undertake a maximum of 6 Out of Hours shifts each month, including bank holidays and weekends, to ensure all women accessing the service receive high-quality, person-centred care.

You will need to demonstrate good engagement skills working with women.
