Job summary

Chase Bridge Primary School is seeking an Out of Hours Club Playworker to support the after-school provision. The role involves assisting with play activities, supervising children, and ensuring safe transport to and from school and caregivers.

Responsibilities include helping with meals, setup and tidy, first aid when trained, and contributing to a welcoming environment while following school policies.

Qualifications

• Assist the Manager to plan, prepare and provide creative and appropriate play opportunities in a safe and caring environment.
• Provide full care for the children including delivery of children to school, collection of children from school and safe delivery to/from parents and/or named carers.
• Assist the Manager to ensure that refreshments are provided that meet the required standards of hygiene, health and safety.
• Help to create a welcoming and supportive environment for the pupils attending the club.
• Assist with the setting up and clearing up of the club each day.
• Under the guidance of team members, assist with the management of the children attending the club in line with school policies.
• Administer first aid once appropriate level of training has been successfully completed.
• Undertake training as required to contribute towards professional development.
• Monitor and maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment.
• Be aware of and support difference and ensure all children have equal access to
