Primary Purpose of the Role:
  • Experienced OTM/GTM Functional Consultant with experience configuring OTM/GTM modules to meet organizational needs, collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Ability to design, build, and implement customizations and enhancements to support business processes.
  • Provide training to users and create/maintain technical documentation.

The role requires experience in lifecycle activities such as requirements mapping, gap analysis, conference room pilots, UAT, and other implementation disciplines. It also includes all aspects of functional consulting, including bespoke projects, customizations, upgrades, and providing system and business process advice.

The role reports directly to the Applications LBPL, with cross-functional responsibilities to the Applications Management Leadership Team, the IS Project Management Group, and senior Business Sponsors.

Principal Relationships (beyond the UK IS team):
  • Business Users and key process owners (Application Management Support Team)
  • ERP Application Vendors and 3rd Party Support Management
  • Group IS (especially ERP and PLM systems Teams and EA)
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
  • Provision of Functional Consulting Services for GTM/OTM Modules and Group/Business Applications.
  • Gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements and process flow charts.
  • Analysis, design, testing, training, implementation, and support using prescribed software lifecycle techniques.
  • Assist in defining and optimizing business processes and driving change through negotiation and consensus-building.
  • Ensure initiatives follow proper planning, scheduling, and management processes.
  • Manage project delivery and expectations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with risk and change management on projects.
  • Work closely with the business community, including coaching and mentoring activities.
  • Prepare and support Functional Design documents for custom development.
  • Participate in transitioning requirements to third-party development teams.
  • Translate requirements into test conditions and expected results for testing phases.
  • Participate in quality management reviews of designs and work products.
  • Build and maintain client relationships internally and externally.
Skills
Essential
  • OTM/GTM Solution expert with at least five years of implementation experience.
  • Functional skills in OTM/GTM modules and Oracle ERP domains such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Projects, Repair/Service, and Finance.
  • Broad IT knowledge of large ERP systems (SAP, IBS, CODA), including applications, storage, networks, and system integration.
  • Experience with design-to-implementation methodologies on ERP projects.
  • Technical IT knowledge covering security, transaction processing, user interface, data management, and operating systems.
  • Understanding of SLA and Service Delivery concepts.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Teamworking and leadership experience.
  • Logical analysis and business awareness.
  • IT development skills (DBA, SQL, web technologies).
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Office tools.
Desirable
  • Knowledge of project management processes, including MS Project.
  • Understanding of business change/user change impacts of IS changes.
