About the job you’re considering

The work involves identifying and creating solutions within the Intelligent Industry (Industry 4.0) sector, focusing on technologies that improve productivity, lead times, information flow, IoT, and asset management across multiple projects and industries. The primary responsibility is to design and develop advanced computer vision solutions that convert visual data into actionable insights. This includes creating scalable architectures, implementing cutting-edge vision models, managing a team of data scientists, and integrating these solutions into existing systems. The role also requires staying abreast of the latest advancements, optimizing models for performance, and providing technical leadership for deploying vision analytics technologies. You will work closely with clients, educating them about potential applications, and helping transform their operations using these new tools and techniques.

Hybrid working

The work location varies between company offices, client sites, and your home, depending on your role and needs. Note that you will not be able to work 100% remotely.

Your role

1. Design and develop scalable vision analytics architectures to meet business needs.
2. Support the development of architectural visions and capability roadmaps for short, medium, and long-term solutions.
3. Lead the implementation of computer vision models and algorithms for image and video analysis.
4. Provide internal consultation and system integration expertise.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into existing systems.
6. Stay updated on advancements in computer vision and AI technologies.
7. Engage with clients to demonstrate solutions, address capabilities, and resolve issues during development and deployment.
8. Provide technical leadership and mentorship as the lead architect for vision solutions.
9. Work with stakeholders to understand system needs and constraints.
10. Derive functional and behavioral system requirements and produce solution architectures.
11. Assist bid and project managers in estimating costs based on solutions.

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in designing and implementing computer vision solutions.
• Knowledge of tools such as NVIDIA Jetson, Linux, IDS Peak Cockpit, etc.
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with deep learning and neural network architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience leading complex projects through their lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, Historians, SCADA, Edge computing, cyber security, digital twins, and digital control towers.
• Ability to work within large organizations and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills.
• Client-facing experience is highly valued.
