Morson Group is seeking an experienced OT Security Platform Engineer to support security, resilience and ongoing improvement of OT platforms across critical OT environments.

The role covers OT security, Windows Server, virtualization, networking, firewalls, monitoring, backup/recovery and secure remote access, with 2–3 on-site days weekly in Glasgow/Aberdeen/Inverness/Reading.

Qualifikationen

• OT/IC environments experience.
• Strong Windows Server administration.
• VMware or Hyper-V experience.
• Networking and firewall technologies.
• Backup & recovery, ideally Veeam.
• PAM / secure remote access (BeyondTrust).
• Security monitoring, logging and alerting.
• OT DMZ / secure IT-OT connectivity.
• Platform hardening and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience in energy/utilities/manufacturing or regulated environments; IEC 62443/NIS knowledge.

Contract Opportunity | OT Security Platform Engineer

Inside IR35
Contract until March 2027
Glasgow / Aberdeen / Inverness / Reading - 2/3 days a week on site

I’m supporting a leading organisation looking for an experienced OT Security Platform Engineer to support the security, resilience and ongoing improvement of OT platforms and infrastructure across critical operational environments.

This is a hands‑on role covering OT security, Windows Server, virtualisation, networking, firewalls, monitoring, backup/recovery and secure remote access.

Key experience:

• OT / IC…
• Strong Windows Server administration
• VMware or Hyper‑V
• Networking and firewall technologies
• Backup & recovery – ideally Veeam
• PAM / secure remote access – ideally BeyondTrust
• Security monitoring, logging and alerting
• OT DMZ / secure IT‑OT connectivity
• Platform hardening and vulnerability remediation

Experience within energy, utilities, manufacturing or other regulated/CNI environments would be highly beneficial, alongside knowledge of IEC 62443, CAF or NIS Regulations.
