Job summary

Sweco UK Ltd in Leeds is seeking an OT Field Engineer to join our Asset Management team and support ICA/SCADA projects across sites. The role requires travel between sites and strong technical input on engineering delivery.

You’ll deliver design and testing for PLC, HMI, telemetry and data networks, supervise ICA/SCADA contractors, and contribute to project start-up and post-project reviews ensuring time, cost and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications or apprenticeship completed.
• Instrumentation and process control background including PLC/SCADA/HMI knowledge.
• Experience supervising ICA/SCADA contractors on multiple projects.
• Familiarity with URS and scoping docs for ICA/SCADA and telemetry equipment & services.
• Experience FAT/SAT/UAT in ICA/OT environments.

Responsibilities

• Attend project start-up meetings and provide technical delivery perspectives.
• Produce design deliverables to achieve optimum ICA/SCADA solutions and deliver testing.
• Provide input for continuous improvement during post-project reviews.
