Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Consultant to join our growing Cyber Security team, supporting Critical National Infrastructure across Energy, Water, Rail, Highways, Aviation and Defence. You will work at the intersection of engineering, operations and cybersecurity to protect OT/ICS environments and secure operations.

You will assess, design and implement cybersecurity controls, work with engineering teams, review OT networks, contribute to secure architectures and produce client

Qualifications

• Experience in OT cybersecurity within CNI or industrial environments.
• Familiar with OT/ICS tech across sectors (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs, industrial networking, safety systems).
• Hands-on security engineering across IT/OT networks (endpoints, firewalls, IDS).
• Understanding standards and frameworks: IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27000, MITRE ATT&CK, NIS/NIS2.

Responsibilities

• Assist assessment, design and implementation of cybersecurity controls in OT and IC environments.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to understand architectures and risks.
• Review OT networks and ICS to identify security improvements.
• Contribute to secure OT architectures including segmentation, remote access, monitoring.
• Support security assessments, reviews and improvement initiatives across CNI sectors.
• Produce technical documentation and client deliverables.
• Support mitigation of cyber risks across OT environments.
• Integrate security controls across IT/OT networks.
• Engage stakeholders to improve resilience and cyber maturity.
• Contribute to incident readiness, threat detection and monitoring as needed.
• Keep up with OT cybersecurity developments.
