Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity project management, ideally within OT/ICS environments.
• Strong understanding of OT protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC).
• Proven ability to implement OT security controls (firewalls, IDS, access control).

Senior OT Cyber Security Engineer Outside IR35 Electrical / Energy Sector

Role: OT Cyber Engineer – Global Renewable Energy Group
Location: Remote, with occasional travel across EU per month
Contract: Outside IR35

Must have experience wihtin Electrical Plants / Energy

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategy
• Collaborate with the client to understand cybersecurity contractual requirements
• Lead the execution of cybersecurity projects
• Coordinate with internal cybersecurity teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity project management, ideally within OT environments
• Strong understanding of ICS, SCADA, and OT technologies
• Familiarity with OT protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, and OPC
• Proven ability to implement OT security controls (firewalls, IDS, access control)
• Experience with network segmentation and OT security architecture
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIS2, and CRA regulations
• Relevant certifications (SSCP, CISSP, CISM, IEC 62443) would be a plus
